Creating an artistic and cultural hub in regional SA
Establishing Port Augusta as a regional center for the arts
involved the transformation of an existing court building into a
seated theatre, two art gallery exhibition areas and an outdoor
theatre/entertaining area. ISIS worked closely with the council
project team to guide the redevelopment, provide heritage expertise
and affordable solutions. The community of Port Augusta now has a
first-class facility that inspires community spirit and artistic
enterprise amongst the regional mining area.
