Detailed planning enables refurbishment of functioning Triage
Emergency areas
With demand growing for its services, the Children’s Hospital at
Westmead needed to reduce patient waiting times in its busy Triage
Emergency Department. To achieve this, an additional 20 patient
treatment rooms and reception area were commissioned. The hospital
sought a partner with expertise in health projects that demanded
patient minimum disruption. Working as head contractor, ISIS
conducted a precise, patient-focused schedule of works that did not
impede the Emergency Triage treatment of children.
