A full upgrade without interrupting patient care
The Saltwater Mental Health Clinic provides specialist medical
reviews for patients with serious mental health issues and their
families.
The two stage refurbishment of Mercy’s Footscray clinic involved
a full upgrade of electrical infrastructure, communication and
security systems. New floors were laid in injecting rooms and
consultation rooms, and secure interview rooms were installed with
one-way glass. Mercy Health set out the following requirements for
the project:
- Expand and upgrade clinic facilities without interrupting
patient care
- Maintain a secure site while works are carried out
- Improve staff and patient security with added value
features
