A seamless transition for major health project
The South Australian Government was planning a new $130 million
mental health facility at Glenside Hospital. Before construction
could begin, transitional works needed to be carried out on
existing buildings where clinical services would be relocated. The
result for the client was 5000 square metres of clinical space and
consultation rooms delivered on time.
A secure site
To make sure patient security wasn’t compromised during the
refurbishment, ISIS carried out regular security checks and erected
temporary fencing and lockable spring-loaded gates. As managing
contractor, ISIS engaged suppliers and subcontractors as
cost-effectively as possible, and worked with the architect to
source cheaper materials. Thanks to ISIS’ cost-saving techniques,
the client saved $600,000 on the original estimate for the
project.
Testimonial
