Extending capacity without interrupting patient care
Albury-Wodonga Private Hospital (AWPH) wanted to consolidate its
“one-stop health service” approach by adding new operating theatres
and recovery beds, as well as extending administrative areas,
waiting rooms, consulting suites and staff facilities. The
challenge was to achieve these complex works without disrupting the
essential services the hospital already provided.
ISIS worked closely with the designers and AWPH’s administrative,
medical and maintenance teams to achieve:
- Consultative program management to deliver within the
hospital’s budget and operating constraints
- Integration of multiple highly technical specialist services in
new operating theatres and consulting facilities
- Minimal disruption to surgical and hospital schedules and work
practices
- On time completion within the AWPH’s critical timeframes
