Efficient delivery of large corporate offices
With a need for more staff facilities, accounting giant Price
Waterhouse Coopers acquired two additional levels in Tower 2 of the
Darling Park development in Sydney’s CBD. The company
required a comprehensive, 4000sqm fitout to accommodate training,
administrative and technical functions. This involved demolishing
the previous fitout, upgrading the interior to new base build
standards, completing the new fitout and upgrading lift
lobbies.
Early involvement the key to smooth project
The early appointment of ISIS as Construction Manager allowed
advance procurement of long lead time items such as workstations
and storage, which were sourced from overseas. Heavier works such
as the fitting of an infill concrete slab to an existing stair void
were also scheduled early to minimise disruption to the project.
Floors were divided into sequential zones, ensuring smooth
sequencing and methodical quality management. Potentially
challenging technical features, including a 50 square metre
computer equipment room, audio-visual and video conferencing
facilities were completed with no fuss by a team of carefully
selected contractors.
