Successful budget management activity
Goodman wanted to build a new national corporate headquarters
which housed more people in less space through an adaptation of an
Activity Based Work solution. This provided greater workplace
flexibility for all their staff and focused on technology, while
creating a very corporate and interactive workspace that could take
on the challenges of the property industry post GFC.
The key challenges of this project were the non-negotiable
completion date and budget. ISIS had to assist with budget
management to ensure that Goodman Group were able to complete the
project within the specified time budget. It was also vital that
the project was of a high quality and there was a seamless
transition from the old office to the new office, with the move
taking place over one weekend only.
The end result was successful, with the client moving into their
new space on the date specified, and within an acceptable allowance
of their original budget.
