Design input and flexibilty deliver best practice offices
International engineering, design and consulting firm, Arup had
experienced significant growth and needed a bigger home in Brisbane
to house 350 staff and emphasise Arup’s position as a leader of
contemporary, sustainable design and construction. ISIS was heavily
involved in the design of features such as the staircase. This
showpiece has been featured in a number of design publications.
Among QLD’s earliest green fitouts
As this project was among Brisbane’s earliest green fitouts,
ISIS collaborated with the architect and educated contractors to
ensure that each component met stringent criteria in manufacture,
use and post-use phases. Documentation was incomplete at the
time the tender was awarded and design work continued during the
construction phase. ISIS was able to take the initiative and solve
a number of issues. Arup was happy to trust our expertise and say:
“you do what you think is right.”
