Sweet Success for Event Cinemas
This unusual project encompassed a detailed demolition phase and
re-fit of the entire front of house area, including the new Candy
Bar and Self Service areas for Events Cinemas, Marion. Back of
house works included the construction of a shell for a new future
commercial kitchen, all new services relating to this kitchen and
upgrades to existing cleaning, wash up and production areas.
The client was primarily concerned with a high quality project
outcome within a critical timeframe and budget. There was also an
issue with limited access for construction works, as well as the
project taking place within a live environment.
Careful planning and communication ensured that ISIS was able to
overcome these project obstacles and deliver a quality project four
weeks ahead of schedule and on budget.
This project was awarded the 2011 South Australian Master
Builders Association Building Excellence Award for Excellence in a
Commercial Fitout.
