A high quality upgrade
Mirvac wanted an outdated hotel building upgraded to a
contemporary hotel and function centre. The first two stages of the
project involved a seven floor fitout and the refurbishment of
guestrooms, a restaurant, bathrooms, function rooms and a
conference centre. Stage 3 was an upgrade to the lobby, reception
area, public bar and business centre.
Fast-tracked delivery
To minimise the effect on hotel business, Mirvac asked ISIS to
accelerate the completion of the last four floors of guestrooms.
ISIS managed this challenge by reprogramming the works within the
scope of the original budget. ISIS completed two rooms at a time
without adding to costs, reducing downtime and increasing occupancy
rates. The hotel is now a high standard 3 star establishment that
attracts a steady clientele.
