No disruption to patient care
Canberra Hospital needed to
refurbish an existing dining room into a new four-bed ward for aged
care patients, as well as convert an existing patient lounge into a
kitchen and lounge area for staff and patients. In addition, ISIS
was engaged to install new toilet facilities and storage shed in
the external yard.
ISIS had to minimise disruption in
the hospital environment to ensure business continuity and no
disturbance to patients. The team focused on infection control,
noise constraints and constant coordination with the client to
communicate any disruption that could not be avoided.
