Earlier this month ISIS was awarded the contract to build
Victoria University’s new $13 million Sport, Recreation and Health
Facility at the St Albans campus.
Raymond Forde, Manager Capital Development at Victoria
University said, “It is evident (that) the ISIS team is one which
will work with us to ensure successful delivery of this important
project”.
The first part of the project will involve construction of an
indoor sports hall with spring timber floor (basketball and netball
compliant), 300sqm gym with change facilities, including accessible
amenities. Also included in part one works are store rooms, program
rooms, recreation entry, reception and small administration offices
spread over two levels (approx 2,000 sqm) and a health science
wing.
The final stage of the works will include the internal fitout of
the health science wing within the newly constructed building. The
project will begin this month and be completed in February
2012.
