Earlier this month ISIS NSW won two MBA Excellence in
Construction Awards for the Newcastle Museum and the Cherry Bar
fitout at The Star.
Held at the Darling Harbour Convention and Exhibition Centre in
Sydney, these awards are the most highly regarded commercial
building awards in NSW.
The Newcastle Regional Museum won for Best adaptive re-use of an
historic building $9 million and over, which was completed in June
this year, and The Cherry Bar at The Star won for Interior fitouts
between $3-5 million.
The judges impressed with both projects, stating:
"The new museum is a wonderful facility and showcases many
exhibits of the industries which once flourished in the Newcastle
area."
And... about the Cherry Bar fitout at The Star:
“the quality of all finishes was quite outstanding and the
overall effect was truly magnificent.”
A huge congratulations to the NSW team and to all those involved in
these projects.
