As a premium international jewellery retailer, Kailis Pearls was looking for someone to provide a powerful retail signature that was a statement about modern luxury and a blueprint for future stores. The new flagship store needed to generate warmth and a connection with customers who understood the beauty of exquisite precious gems and pearls. This was an opportunity to shine.

ISIS was given the task of transforming the existing heritage building into a showcase for luxury jewels because we understood the Kailis Pearls brand and we shared their appreciation for exacting standards.

We knew that this would be one of the tightest building programmes in Perth, calling for extensive changes to a façade on a heritage-listed street. To a strict budget. All due to be completed in five weeks just before Christmas. Lucky we love a challenge.

The short timeframes on the delivery of quality finishes such as natural veneers, star-fire toughened glass, polished marble and hand-polished toughened glass required a close working relationship with trusted sub-contractors and constant access to the design team.

It was an inspirational project, both for the ISIS team customer and the customer. Their slogan, ‘Purely original, simply perfect’, was captured in a stunning new space for their international luxury brand on iconic King Street in Perth, and the design, finish and delivery all received excellent feedback from the client and the press.
