Henry Bucks is a high-end menswear and homeware retailer with a reputation for quality and excellence dating back to 1890.
The initial communication was to ensure this world-class retailer had a flagship store in line with its brand values of quality, excellence, uncompromising attention to detail and classic styling. 320 Collins Street Melbourne was the location selected as the prime address for the project.
ISIS began the transformation of the space with demolition of existing services and building structure for the new proposed layout. A large circular penetration was created to eventually accommodate the new feature staircase. Together with high-end wooden floors and custom lighting, new services including mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulics were installed. The tenancy shop front was constructed using ‘bandit’ resistant glazing and stainless steel cladding.
It was vital that a quality outcome was achieved on time and budget and the integrity of the design was built into every detail of the project. The unique features, including the opulent curved steel staircase and stainless steel handrails, the ceiling above the staircase, together with feature lighting and finishes, provided exceptional visual aesthetics. A remarkable accomplishment for a project of this scope within a 12-week timeframe.
ISIS has assisted the Henry Bucks brand in further inspiring their discerning customers by building this truly remarkable flagship store at one of Melbourne’s premium street locations.
