Stunningly situated in the historic Rocks district, the Four Seasons Hotel commands dramatic views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour.

When the time came for a Sydney-style makeover, ISIS was chosen by Eureka Funds Management in a Lump Sum Contract capacity to construct the $16 million refurbishment of all 531 rooms and associated corridors within the hotel. The customer communicated a clear desire for a modern and spacious feel, in keeping with a true five star hotel.

Transforming the vision into reality was accomplished by constructing three prototype rooms and a consultation process that took over twelve months.

Our close relationship allowed us to bring some great design ideas to life and the fact we had worked with the project designer on other occasions meant we could utilise our knowledge and experience to full capacity. Constructive feedback from the hotel operator kept us focused on the many functional aspects that make for a great hotel experience.

One particular challenge that was successfully resolved was the procurement and management of offshore goods. This was closely coordinated through close contact and offshore inspections of goods by ISIS management, in order to ensure that the highest quality standards were being maintained.

The result gives the Four Seasons Hotel an interior fitout befitting the group's exceptional standard worldwide.
